Super long update

Ok, lets see if I can remember everything from September, October and November.

September

I had my 10 year high school reunion in September. It was just held at the school (which was kind of crazy since they remodeled it and it looks NOTHING like when I was there) with a catered dinner and a little slide show to watch while we ate. There weren't too many people there but it was still kind of fun to see old friends and what they are up to.

My Uncle Johnny came to visit from North Carolina and my Aunt Taryl from Seattle so my mom's side of the family had a little family BBQ. It was fun to see everyone that we don't see very often. Side note, Johnny is going to be going to the temple which is pretty awesome. (unfortunately I only got pics of my own kids and no one else.)

We helped Jake plant some trees after the shin-dig

Random cutey

We also did some walks and bike riding with the boys. They loved it! Such a fun family activity.

Playing with the kittens after riding out to grandma Flygare's

October

The first week I was still recovering from my tonsillectomy which was awful (in fact my throat still bothers me two months later...annoying). But, for the Vivint end-of-year party they had a private Imagine Dragons concert which was awesome! We were sitting in the nose-bleeds but that doesn't really matter since you are just listening anyway. They are really good!

A couple weeks after that we went on our Vegas vacation which was such a blast. We stayed at Tahiti Village which was nice. The kids loved the pool with the shallow kiddie areas and sand beach. We didn't do a lot of the "touristy" stuff which was absolutely fine and relaxing. We would get up, do our morning stuff, go to the pool, take the boys back for nap time, go to dinner and then whatever night show we had planned. We also did some shopping in-between things. We saw the cirque de solei show, Ka, which was absolutely amazing. We loved it. And then we saw Ray Romano and Kevin James which was hilarious. There was one part where Kevin James was going off on some lady in the audience who had shouted something out in a deep, manly voice and it was so funny my cheeks were on fire from laughing and Andy was literally slapping his knee! It was so nice that Andy's family came with us so we had someone to babysit. We also ate lots of yummy food, of course. Oh and took the boys to the Aquarium at Mandalay Bay. They loved that. However, there was a huge fish tank in one of the hotels where we ate and the boys liked that just as much, and it was free, so I don't know if the $20/person fee was worth it haha. Plus, they even had a mermaid diving in the free tank. Pretty awesome. Andy said he wants to go to Vegas every year just to go to shows. I use to hate Vegas because my family went ALL the time but when you don't go downtown a whole lot and just relax it's actually pretty fun.

He HATED the sand! Would scream and pick up his feet every time I tried to put him down

We had some Asian woman who didn't know how to work a camera take our pic. It was hilarious. This is the best one we got

Then we had Halloween. Owen couldn't stop talking about for weeks before it happened. He was Mario, Andy was Luigi, I was Princess, and Grayson was a dragon, AKA Bowser. We were super cool. Owen wasn't too keen on trick-or-treating that night because Grandma Flygare had taken him to a bunch of stores that afternoon so he was too tired, but we still had fun. We also carved a pumpkin. Owen thought the pumpkin guts were stinky (He seriously has the most sensitive nose in the world). I'd have to agree. And we went to the pumpkin walk. There were a million people and we just walked past everyone super fast and skipped the free cookies.  I'm not one for big crowds. (Some random pics thrown in there)

Didn't want pictures done so he's hiding

He'd cry if Daxon knocked before him

A little breakdown

Enjoying some goldfish treats

Oh we also had family pictures done. I'm surprised they turned out as well as they did because both boys were so tired so Gray only wanted me and to be held and Owen compensated by being super hyper and not wanted to sit still.

November

We went to the park, snuggled, hung out at home, celebrated 7 years of love at The Melting Pot and Andy gave me some amazing flowers that included our wedding flowers, planted some more trees in the yard, played in snow, cut down Christmas trees and had Thanksgiving with my family.

The lighting was terrible so we looked awful in every picture. Oh well
