January

We celebrated the New Year at my parent's with my dad's yummy Japanese feast, as per usual. Following Christmas all the boys in our house got a nasty cold that lasted for nearly 3 weeks and pour little Gray-man got an ear infection. So not fun. That was the first sick visit to the doctor for us, ever. Our sleep schedule was messed up for weeks but I think we are back to normal, mostly.

Owen is now a Sunbeam in primary at church. I can't believe it. The first couple weeks he cried. When I picked him up the first time I asked if he had fun and he said, "Yeah, but I just cried. But then you came and got me" and the second week he cried when I left so Andy went and sat with him for a while and after church he said "I just cried but then dad came and rescued me." HAHA. Week 3 he said "I not going to cry in sunbeams today." And he did great. He has some really great teachers. Although, he told me "My teacher stinks" HAHA. He has the most sensitive nose of anyone I've ever met.

We also built our first snowman. The snow has been terrible for building. First it was too powdery, then it got crusty. When we went for a well check for Gray the nurse asked about seeing Frozen and said the snowman was funny and Owen said, "My Andy tried to make a snowman, but he just couldn't do it." He's hilarious.
