New adventures

So, a few things have changed for me in the last week or so.  First, they released me from activity days and put me into sunbeams right as I was getting comfortable with the 9 year old girls. Sunbeams will be fun, but I really miss going to the adult classes.  Luckily there are two other teachers so I only have to do the lesson every third week. Today I remembered how much I loved sharing time. I love the primary songs. When I was in High School or home from college on the weekends I would sometimes just go and sit in primary instead of my own classes because I loved it. Teaching will be a new experience and challenge for me. Hopefully I can teach the sweet 3 year old kids something while I'm their teacher.
Second, I got a job. I prefer to solely be a stay-at-home mom. But, I worked hard to get my nursing license and I have to have so many hours in order to keep it current. So, I have a great friend and neighbor who told about a job where she works. It's perfect. It's only every other weekend (Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday) as an on-call nurse with Access home health and hospice. I'm on-call with another nurse who is the visit nurse, so  unless she's totally busy, I just answer phones. So I get to stay at home with Owen while getting paid and occasionally making visits.  I'm super excited about it.

Sunbeams, wow! Lila will be a Sunbeam in Jan. and I wonder what it must be like to teach those little wiggle worms...probably have to plan some games or singing time along with the lesson! Congrats on the job; you couldn't hardly ask for a better deal!

You'll be such a great teacher! My experience teaching little ones--dress ups and lots of visual aids. They LOVE it.

Congratulations on the job! That is so great. This is over a month late, but congratulations are still in order!
