Can I just brag for a moment here? I have the BEST baby ever. Seriously, I was blessed. I couldn't ask for a better son. He's sweet, funny, tender, happy and so easy going. But, that's not the most amazing part. He loves to sleep when he's tired. Today at nap time we were sitting on the couch watching some toons together. He got up off my lap, grabbed his binky and said "night night" then walked to his crib. I put him in and he went right to sleep. This, my friends, is not a rare thing. It happens on a daily basis. Including bedtime tonight. May I remind you he is only 18 months old. He doesn't fight bedtime...he embraces it! For that, I'm grateful. Oh, and also...he's now sleeping 12-13 hours a night ALL THE WAY THRU! It only took us 17 months haha. Turns out I just had to wean him....which I was horrified of, but that turned out to be easier than expected as well, thanks to my fabulous husband who learned how fun it is to get up in the middle of the night for a crying baby. Now if only I could stop feeling like my stomach is being wrung out and having crazy dreams so I can sleep all the way thru!
**Sorry for the lack of pictures lately. But they just don't happen when you never leave your pjs and couch. And honestly, half the time Owen stays in his pjs all day too. It's just easier that way :)
