It's weird. It seems like 2 years has flown by, but at the same time it feels like we've had this fun little munchkin with us forever. I really can't remember what life was like before having a child. Not quite as entertaining, stressful or exhausting, I'm sure! We had a pretty laid back, but fun party for Mr. Owen with his favorite people...Mom, Dad, Grandma and grandpa Kano and Flygare, Daxon, Jake, Monica, Madi and Stacee. He loves the water...so we played in it. Here is the day in pictures...
Woke up to BALLOONS (He LOVES them) and kicked them around for a while
Cupcakes for breakfast!! The first thing he asked for after playing with the balloons was, "birthday-cake, mom, some" (It's funny because I had told him I made cupcakes the day before, but had never said birthday-cake before...smart kid).

Ate yummy food and rainbow cupcakes. I was hesitant to make them because they seemed like a lot of work, but they were easier than anticipated and turned out quite cute if I do say so!

Owen had an awesome 2nd birthday. It was a party from sun up to sun down. And those cupcakes were amazing!

His little bum is so cute, is that creepy of me to say? Oh well! Happy birthday cute kid! I think you're adorable to let him have a cupcake for breakfast. Best mom ever!
