29 Weeks

I'm officially in my third trimester and down to 2 week visits. It's really kind of freaking me out. I had Owen only 6 short weeks from now. Let's hope we have more time before this one comes. I'm getting really nervous about having 2 kiddos. How do you adjust to a toddler and a newborn? Plus, I feel like I forgot all the newborn stuff. I'm excited though to have a tiny one to snuggle and smell and love on. We can't decide on a name. Any suggestions? Boy names are so hard to me.

29 weeks

In other news, we had a bridal shower for my soon to be sister in law. I think it turned out pretty good. Nothing extravagant (I'm not really a party planner) But I did this super cute poem with household items, like hand soap and cleaners. Can't believe my baby brother is getting married next week! Still so crazy.

Owen is becoming the most energetic, fun little boy to have around.  He's so funny and knows so much. He's smart. He's talking really well and I love it. We were watching a movie and the girl on it said something about being French and Owen says, "french.....french fries."  HA! The kid loves french fries. Which is funny because we really don't have them very often. I also discovered that using the HUGE car shopping carts makes for an easier trip at the store with him (not the steering, because those things are hard to drive, but by not having a toddler that wants to get out and run around). He loves to "drive." He's also learned to unlock and open the sliding door, which is scary. I have to really pay attention so he doesn't get loose by himself like he did the other day while I was doing my hair. Oh and his latest obsession is "ELMO" He loves sesame street. He will go get the remote and turn the TV on and ask for Elmo. Some days I have to tell him Elmo isn't on because I just can't take another episode. But it is nice when I need him to be entertained without me. Ok, well I better go get him ready to go to Willow Zoo with our friend's.

looking BEAUTIFUL still. I can't believe you are in your third trimester! Holy cow! I'm still SO sad I missed out on park day with you guys. But glad I didn't go and pass those yucky germs on. No ideas for a boy name but I think of something awesome I'll let you know.

PS--We had MANY days the Backyardigans were "sleeping."

Baby names, baby names... I'll be honest with you... I am not a big fan of "Utah" names where things are spelled oddly and you mash names together - funny since my name is all sorts of crazy, but growing up with a crazy name has made me determined to give my children simple names. With that said, I wouldn't be surprised if you agree with me because Owen is such a darling, simple name. Names that I love that Stu hates, so I'll never be able to use them unfortunately: Gavin, Chandler, ummm... That's all I can think of. Good luck!
