Wow! This one has been a doozy! Seriously, it has been the worst yet. I felt like death for a good 2 months straight and have just turned a corner in the last couple days (at 12 weeks) hopefully for good...I still feel nauseous and have little energy but I'm not puking my guts out all the time (even with Zofran). My due date is August 13, 2015 which is so hysterical. All of my due dates have been Aug. 16, Aug. 16, Aug 13. This stuff can't be planned. In fact, we started trying this time around in May! I have to admit I was getting frustrated that it wasn't happening faster, especially since I knew a lot of people who were pregnant, including Thomas and Kristie (still a little strange for me to think my little brother is having a baby!) But the Lord has plans. And apparently they always happen in the same week of the year for us! We are so grateful for this new little spirit to come join our family. It really is such a blessing.
I have literally lived on my couch, rarely leaving the house. Luckily for Owen and Grayson they have awesome grandmas who like to babysit. Andy's mom has seriously taken the boys almost everyday for at least a few hours.
The boys are very excited for a new baby! Owen really wants a baby sister. He has come up with some crazy things he's said so far. A few of the names he's asked is if he could call the baby Freddison, and Judy.
January 4th this was our conversation:
O: Mom do you have to go to the doctor to get your belly cut open?
M: No
O: Well how will you get that baby out when it's done growing?
M: Go ask your dad
(he dropped the question for the night)
Few weeks later:
O: Mom, are they gonna cut your belly open?
M: no why?
O: Well how does that baby come out of your belly?
M: There is a special spot were babies come out.
O: Well where is it?
M: By my bum
O: Oh....like your back?
M: no
O: Like your LOW back?
M: sure buddy ( I could have answered this better but I have pregnancy brain and I was sick of questions) haha
Grayson often tells me he has a baby in his belly too. And one time he said he wanted to see the baby and I told him he couldn't see it because it's inside and he lifted my shirt, looked at my belly and said he saw it and Owen said, "He has good eyes!"
When people ask Owen how I'm feeling he often responds with something to the sort of "She is sick cuz that baby is still in her belly" or "She will be sick til that baby comes out of her belly"
